Who we are

Investor News is an independent financial publisher. Our multi-part investigation “A Special Report: The Harrowing Impunity of White-Collar Crime” won the Los Angeles Press Club’s 64th SoCal Journalism Award (Consumer News or Feature, 2022).

No pitches, no paid coverage

We do not accept payment, free or discounted shares, warrants, travel, or any consideration for coverage. We do not accept story pitches from companies, promoters, or investor-relations firms, and we do not grant pre-publication review. Every approach offering compensation for coverage is logged and refused.

Sourcing and fairness

Our reporting is based on public records, court documents, regulatory filings, data, and interviews. Where no court has ruled, allegations are described as allegations. Subjects of investigative reporting are given the opportunity to comment before or after publication, and their responses are reported.

Positions and trading

Any position held by Investor News or an author in a covered security is disclosed in the relevant article. Our staff do not trade securities we cover in the window around publication.

Corrections
