This page explains, plainly, how Investor News makes money — and what we refuse to take money for.

What we never do

We never accept payment, stock, or anything of value from any company, promoter, or investor-relations firm to cover, feature, flag, or mention any security. Our reporting, scanner flags, and analysis cannot be bought, and companies we cover get no preview or approval of what we publish. Federal law (Securities Act §17(b)) requires paid stock promotion to be disclosed; our policy is simpler — we do not do it at any price.

Advertising and affiliate links

The site may display third-party advertising, and some links on this site may be affiliate links, meaning Investor News earns a commission if you click them or buy through them, at no additional cost to you. In accordance with the FTC’s Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255), assume that clearly marked advertisements and outbound links to commercial products may compensate us.

Three rules apply to every ad and affiliate relationship we accept: (1) an ad is never an endorsement — we do not vet, recommend, or vouch for advertisers, and you should apply the same skepticism to them that we teach in our reporting; (2) advertisers get no influence over our editorial content, and we do not cover advertisers’ products in our reporting; (3) we do not accept advertising from issuers or promoters of specific securities.

Subscriptions

Our primary intended revenue is reader subscriptions. That structure is deliberate: a publisher paid by readers works for readers.
